I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse in a nursing home. Sure, I do a lot of walking up and down the halls but 465 seems like a little excessive. what do you think?

I eat back all my Fitbit adjustments, and I lost weight. If large adjustments bother you, increase your activity level. Just be sure to enable negative calorie adjustments, or you might not have a deficit on inactive days: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

That sounds about right. I work in a large box store and generally add 400-550 calories per shift due to the amount of walking I do.

You wear it for the full 12 hours? That sounds right to me. It also counts your other activities as well. I would think that being a nurse is a tough job and you are always rushing places.

That's sounds right, I'm a nurse in a nursing home as well and between my job and my workout I'll have 700-800 calorie burns some days. I have my activity level set to sedentary though.

How many steps did you clock up? That doesn't seem unrealistic. When I reach around 20000 steps I get about 600 exercise cals so when I've worked out on top of this I often get 800-900 adjustments.
