Hello all! I've been on this site for a little while but haven't worked up the courage to say "hello" yet. So...hello
My sister's wedding is coming up in September 2011 and this is the first time I've been a bridesmaid (well I'm the MoH and the MC). The thought of my chubby-sefl being memorialized in her wedding pictures is horrifying. And she's the type of person to frame and put in her house a picture of the wedding party...and my parents will definitely have one too. And apparently it's bad form to tell the bride she can't put up pictures of her wedding in her own house I don't want to be the fat bridesmaid
So here I am...lookin' for some support and encouragement. I recently started with a personal trainer (/fistpump to Linzi) and I've got a great pal at work keeping me on the right path (/highfive to Mike). So I've got a great start I think.
My typical MO is to be really motivated for the first few weeks and then get caught up in real life and fall off the wagon. I'm hoping to be able to get over that hurdle this time..and really make it stick. And maybe one day I'll be able to post in the "Success Story" thread
EDIT: Spelling mistakes*

Well I'm from SK, but I lived in AB for a little while! Glad you joined! You can do this! I joined just after my sisters wedding (summer 2010) and I've lost 32 pounds so far. You can lose the weight you need to in the time you have I'm sure! Good luck!0
