Do the cravings ever go away?

I just recently started trying to lose weight again and I have the perfect diet plan. I'm getting enough calories while still remaining in a calorie deficit and I'm eating food that I enjoy. I decided to stop eating fast food and chinese food, and the cravings I have for them are very intense. I keep feeling like I'm going to give in and eat them. I was wondering if I continue to resist fast food will the cravings go away, or will they get worse?

For me I think they fade away. But it takes a few months for you to really get it out of your head. Like last week I was horribly tired after work and my preplanned meals were all gone. Which meant it was a cooking night. There is a mcdonalds outside of my house and I said "okay, I'm hungry, tired, and don't want to cook". Standing in line the smell was disgusting. I turned around and walked out.0

Some believe moderation is the best option I have tried cutting it out completely and have lasted but I fell off the wagon back in feb and even stopped logging I ate tons of fast food no exercise I did maintain but last week when I started working out I felt it all my lack of energy to start with I cleaned up my eatin a little bit but today I have in to Chinese food I did however get full fast I had fried rice n fried chicken wings
I know not the best option on the entire menu it fit into my calories though I drank water before and after also and workout after only 25 minutes but I don't feel bad just gta take it slow and steady so if you do fall into cravings just try to make the best of it either ordering it to make it healthier adding veggies sauce on side etc or allow yourself to have it but in moderation or find recipes that u an make at home hope this helps btw water before helps too

YES.
They eventually go away. Think on this as quitting to smoke: at first you might not notice, then you'll have some hard days, and finally you'll stop "wanting to".
Just embrace the process and do not give up.0 -
Yes, they can go away.
If you absolutely want them though, create other options that are much healthier. I love pizza, but it's unrealistic to eat it often. I made a healthier option that fits my meal macros, is nutritious, and is just as satisfying as sitting down at a pizza joint.
You can probably do the same with Chinese food. There's plenty of ways to make them at home. It may not be the greasy and salty MSG ridden kind we all know and love, but it is possible to slim down comfort foods, and make them more nutritious! Plus, it'll help you save more money down the line to make it at home, rather than pay for a fast food joint to make it for you.0 -
Have your chinese just make sure you have a light breakfast and lunch for the day.0
