deep fried whole cauliflower served on a bed of preserved lemon, almonds, and lemon oil whipped until mayo-like, and topped with lardo and cacao nibs0 -
This might sound a little weird, but I really dig "cauliflower rice." It doesn't taste exactly like rice, but it's really good! Just google cauliflower rice and a bunch of recipes will pop up.0

Hi - I recently saw a recipe a few days ago for yummy Cauliflower fried rice which I want to try - here is the link. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2014/03/cauliflower-fried-rice.html
I have made cauliflower crust pizza before as well and it turned out quite nice - here is the link for that as well.
http://www.howsweeteats.com/2013/08/the-best-cauliflower-crust-pizza/ - just be careful with how much cheese you use on top!
Hope you enjoy!0 -
I found this one on Pinterest, it had almost a 5 star rating. I'm gonna try it this week.

I've done the cauliflower rice, mash and pizza base. All three are great. Lots of cauliflower rice varieties ; I found a coconut lime cilantro one which is great with thai curries. Google is a great recipe book!0

Just roasted with olive oil is delicious... you can sprinkle a bit of cheese in the last 10 minutes too.
This one was very good too

My favorite and easiest is just mashed cauliflower. Boil one cauliflower until it's very tender, add 3-4 tbsp of cream cheese (45-60g, depending on the size of the cauliflower), salt and pepper, and mash.0 -
When I need a healthy lunch on the go, I cook cauliflower with veggies and philadelphia cheese. It tastes really nice!
Or make a cauliflower soup, filling and warm!

No recipe but we had Mock Mashed Potatoes this week for the first time. We cut up a head of cauliflower, boiled until done. Drained, then added a few Tbsps of Light cream cheese & light margarine, salt & pepper, splash of milk. It was good. I see various recipes online that add Parmesan cheese or garlic as well. The second time we made this we also boiled a big diced potato along with it to help with texture. I topped mine with a few Tbsp of low calorie/low carb gravy & I could easily eat that a lot & I usually don't like cauliflower very well.0

These all sound so good! Thanks you guys!0

Yeah my wife used to smash them up like mashed potatoes. I don't know what she put in it but was awesome. Going to get her to start doing that again.0

These are some of my favorite:
Cauliflower Garlic "Bread": I exclude the top layer of cheese and it's still great!

Cauliflower Tater-Tots

The cauliflower fried rice is yummy and if you pinterest buffalo cauliflower bites, those are awesome too!
Hope that helps!0 -
One of my family's favorites. My kids ask for it at least 4 times a week:
http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/sauted-chickpeas-with-broccoli-parmesan-10000001875858/
The recipe calls for broccoli, but I sometimes substitute brussel sprouts, and I sometimes substitute cauliflower.0 -
Question: Does the pizza crust have the consistency of bread or is it a whole new taste? I want to try it, but I am a little nervous about the texture.0

I eat cauliflower several times a week (usually) so I'm so glad to see this post! I'm hoping I can get some new cauliflower ideas.
Cauliflower Rice - I make a lot of Indian food and I do not notice much of a difference if it is with a dish that has a gravy or sauce, like Chicken Tikka, Curries, etc. 30 calories a cup really beats the 200 calories in brown rice! I have come across a lot of recipes for different flavored cauliflower rices to eat as sides, but I have yet to try any of them. They look good though!
Cauliflower Mash - It's similar to mashed potatoes but you can use 100% cauliflower or, my preference is to add a little bit of boiled potatoes plus the cauliflower. Then I add garlic, light sour cream, and Parmesan cheese. The calorie count is amazing compared to traditional mashed potatoes.
Cauliflower Pizza Crust - This was actually really yummy! But I have a kitchen aid so I have to admit, when I make pizza I rather make the traditional dough (with yeast and flour) and just roll it out real thin. The cauliflower pizza crust was a little extra work than I wanted because you have to squeeze out the water from the cauliflower.
Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower - This is a DELICIOUS snack. My husband and I both love it. If I ever have an extra head of cauliflower this is what I make with it. Here is the recipe. I use a little less of the oil than the recipe says.

I'm excited to try the cauliflower fried recipe. Thanks to the person who shared it!0 -
Bump to read after work I love cauliflower!!!0

BEST recipe ever. my family eats cauliflower fried rice at least once a week and we fight over left overs. We make it with peppered bacon, a couple eggs, and green onion.

I use cauliflower in almost any dish that requires rice (broccoli cheese casserole, shrimp jambalaya, fried rice). I've also used it as a substitute for potatoes (mashed potatoes, shepherds pie, potato salad). You can find tons of recipes for these and others on Pinterest.0

Take the head, cut it into three sections, cut one section up into a microwave safe bowl, put the other two sections back in the fridge for later, add 1 serving of Ranch dressing and one serving of shredded cheese, microwave for a minute and enjoy. 260 calories unless using fat free ranch, then less.0

Bumping for later0

I make a vegan cauliflower Alfredo recipe (from Vegan Yum Yum) that goes into a red & white casserole - it's pretty much the best thing ever. There are a lot of non-vegan recipes out there, too.0

I love it roasted with various spices but my fav is whole roasted. You core it and place on a baking sheet. I mixed vanilla greek yogurt, paparika, cumin, garlic, and a bit of cayenne together and smeared it all over the head. Roast for about 45 minutes at 375. The yogurt puts a beautiful, tasty crust on it. It is company perfect or delish just for you. I served in wedges.0

The pizza crust has a different texture than regular crust. Not quite as sturdy. More like a soft sourdough type bread.
It is very important to squeeze out as much water from the cooked cauliflower as you can. I use frozen cauliflower that I microwave just enough to soften slightly, then I drain the water, put cauliflower in my Ninja to rice it, then put it in a cloth and squeeze out the extra water. If you don't get the water out, it takes a lot longer to cook and falls apart. I usually eat it with a fork anyway.
I sometimes just make the crust and cut it into bread slices and use it for sandwiches. Ham, egg, cheese and avocado sandwiches are great on it.0 -
Do the Tater Tots!!!
They were amazing!!! I could have eaten the whole batch if my husband hadn't been battling me out for them
Seriously, amazing!0 -
I love roasting with olive oil, garlic and spices.
Another fav of my SO is when I steam the cauliflower, then add a mix of 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup dijon and mix together. Then sprinkle a 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. sprinkle a little cayenne on and roast in oven until cheese is bubby0 -
For more of a main dish, I just saw this article in the Washington Post for "chicken-fried" cauliflower with a mushroom sauce. It looked really good and interesting. I thought you could use the same concept but substitute a piccata-style sauce.
