50 pounds in 5 1/2 months?

Okay, so my name is Olivia. My dad was looking to lose 50 or more pounds of weigth and so am I. I weight about 160 and I want to lose 50 pounds. So I came up with a plan to help me.
1) Starting may 19th, 4 hours of swimming five or more days a week.
2) an hour or so of biking with my dad
3) no junk food
4) 30 minutes of random workouts
5) lots of water.
6) 1250 calorois a day
Does this sound like a good plan? All will be non-stop, vigorous workout with 2-4 glasses of water in between. Is this achievable?

Wow. No. A thousand times, no. Let me re-state what you're saying, so that you can see why this is a bad idea. You're saying that you're planning on exercising 5 1/2 hours per day, and eat only 1,250 calories. This means that you're going to be literally burning up muscle, including heart muscle, to fuel this fiasco. Not only is "not doable"--it's frankly dangerous. You could literally die of a heart attack because you're heart muscle will be severely damaged--even if you could stick with such a cruel program. You don't mention how tall you are, or what your body frame is like, or any other medical conditions you might have. Let's try an alternative: go through the standard process of MFP, eat the allowed calories per day, exercise a reasonable amount, and lose 1-2 pounds per week. You'll learn new eating and cooking habits, learn about portion control, get your muscles into good condition, and be healthy the entire time. I'm a nurse--trust me.

    So...
Once you reach your goal weight, are you hoping to keep that weight off? If you are, and if you want to have a healthy body when you get there, you'll have to put in the time and effort it takes to develop a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Eating 1250 calories a day and exercising for 5+ hours at a time is not healthy or sustainable.

You don't say how tall you are, but 110 pounds is a relatively low weight goal and may or may not be appropriate for you. But no matter how much you need or want to lose, healthy weight loss at your current weight is no more than 2 pounds a week. Really, you should only aim to lose 1 pound a week. Yes, it will take awhile, but if you do it the right way, you'll only have to do it once.
