I recently had a baby, well actually almost ten months ago. However, I have lost about 50 or 60 pounds since I had her I am still about 30 pounds away from the ideal weight I want/need to be. My only issue is that I LOVE to eat. I have been breast feeding and it really does not help, and also I have been working out.....but my portions, eating late while doing school, or just eating more then I need to and drinking pop is my problem. I even fight myself constantly about how im going to do this or that, but then I get bored or just want to eat. I'm writing this now and I want to eat but I'm forcing myself not too. Any tips anyone?

I have the same problem right now. If I was smart, I would go to bed.0

I love, love, love to eat too.
I don't hold back, actually.
What I do is counter the calories with cardio. Today I rowed a marathon, giving me back over 2,100 calories.
It's the only way I'll keep on to this -- I'm not going to starve myself, and I'm certainly not going to eat lettuce and diet coke.0 -
get the pop out of the house!0

Well, as of today yesterday I have cut out anything that is fatty or high in calories. That means carrots, almonds, a square of cheese, and apple slices is what my lunch consisted of. My breakfast just coffee and a banana, and dinner a box dinner which I guess that's bad but all I had. So I also breast fed which loses about 400 to 500 a day in calories and also I did morning and night workout. I figure I am working out so I might as well make it worth it and not be wasting my time WHATSOEVER anymore. especially since I hate working out or at least the HIT workouts.. So anyways, I love eating BUT there is that saying " Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels" isn't that true
ha. sticking to it. Plus my bf is going to buy me a boob job this summer so I need to lose it all. :)Good luck everyone.

Doesn't sound like you are eating all that much. How many calories are you netting?0

If it's really habitual, maybe try breaking one habit at a time, and slowly. If soda's a problem, then that's a big one and the easiest to cut out. Start phasing it out, little by little, replacing it with water or tea. It's hard, but after a few weeks you seriously don't miss it at all. That'll knock out a ton of calories and unnecessary chemicals. Then maybe try phasing more dark, leafy greens and smoothies and stuff into your diet. If you gorge yourself on low-cal veg options, it's a lot harder to eat the same amount of junk. Expand your choices, rather than restricting them.
I know it takes forever, but slow and steady's the way to go. You're a lot likely to stick with it and be tons happier if you're never hungry and taking good care of yourself, rather than just restricting calories. You know?0
