High calorie low fat food?

Hi all,

I'm falling short of my calorie intake almost everyday recently but going over my fat so I'm trying to find something that is high in calories but low in fat (if it has protein even better) any suggestions?

Thanks

    lean chicken / turkey / tuna ......

...though there will always be some fat here ....

If you're just wanting to make up calories with protein, then try whey isolate protein....
  • Greek yoghurt 0% fat kind. Yum, and high in protein :)

If you don't feel like buying protein powder, anything low in moisture could potentially be high calorie low fat compared gram to gram to regular low fat high protein stuff. Nonfat hard cheeses come to mind (watch the sodium though). Good calorie bang per gram in a smaller package and lots of protein. Nuts are my personal choice of filler but since they're high in fat cheese could be yours.

I would suggest setting your fat a little higher, since many vitamins are fat soluble.

    porridge??

Nuts are high in calories (also high in fat as well but not saturated fat)
Sugary drinks very high in calories and no fat (but will blow your sugar out the water)

What % is your fat at (could it be too low)?

it was set at 15% but I have now upped it to 20%.

Trying to avoid the sugary drinks but will def go for rice and pasta with beans and add yogurt in for snacks.
