Hello everyone!
So today i invested in green tea. I'm on a diet plan and have heard it is great for this that and pretty much everything. I bought a load from twinings as they were having some great offers. Mostly
Flavoured, as I've already tried plain green tee and it tasted pretty much of nothing to me! Ones I got are mango and lychee, caramelised apple, and salted caramel.
My main question is... How do you make it right?!
The twinings packet says 2 minutes brewing. Unfortunately, for me, it still tasted like nothing. Smelt absolutely ravishing but didn't do much for the taste buds. Added half a teaspoon of honey which helped a little but I'm not a massive honey fan and only like it in incredibly small quantities.
I've seen a lot of posts where people say no boiling water! And it doesn't matter what you add - you just have to make it right!
So how exactly DO you make it right???
Thanks! X

Green tea does have a mild flavor. Aside from making it stronger, I don't know what you can do about that.0

Boil water. Leave it stand for about 5 minutes (it needs to be 80 degrees C). Pour into a glass with the tea. Leave to stand for 5-6 minutes. Remove the tea bag and drink up.
Putting it in a glass instead of a mug or cup helps, because glass is thinner. This way you take in less air while drinking it, allowing you to taste the tea better.
This is all according to the owner of my local specialist tea shop.0 -
fabulous advice, i'll definitely try that! x0
