BMI Measuring

Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this but I've only been using the app for a week and a half. I need to lose weight as I'm on the list for a kidney transplant. The ideal would be a kidney pancreas transplant but I have to get my BMI down to 29.

Is there a way for myfitnesspal to measure my BMI or do I have to use another program?

    I don't thing mfp tracks bmi, but there are a million calculators online. Bmi is based on a simple equation, so all the calculators are the same. Best of luck to you!

    Click on APPS on the top menu bar - there is a BMI calculator there beside the BMR calculator - not sure how accurate but it will give you a starting point - since this is for a medical procedure I am sure your health care professionals will want to be checking that on a regular basis to ensure you are on the right track - good luck OP :flowerforyou:

    I bought a weight watchers scale that you program your height age sex ect in and it tells you all that stuff when you step on it. Im not sure it'll be 100% accurate, but at least it'll give you an idea of your progress, and I believe it was under $50 at walmart. Good luck!!
