We all fall off the wagon, it's the determination to get back on that counts. #Nevergiveup

Be kind to yourself Gary. Life happens. If you get injured, keep on with your food plan, and exercise again when you can. If you binged one meal or one week....it's okay. Just start back where you were. I know how this feels, and it seems like it always happens just when you need it most.

You CAN. I know you can, because you have. Just get back up, and start right now.

    *hugs*

I once saw a poster that said "tired of starting over? Quit giving up". I think of that every time I start to lose focus. Starting over sucks. So, one slip up doesn't mean you have to start over - don't let one slip become two or three, etc.

^^^ This ... although its easeier said than done (I have the same problem). We just gotta keep reminding ourselves

If you keep getting ill or injured, is it possible that you're taking too extreme of an approach? Illness and injury can be your body's way of trying to get you to stop doing whatever you're doing. A lot of people start a diet/exercise plan and try to go balls-out right from the beginning (I'm going to run 5 miles a day and eat nothing but boiled chicken and spinach!), and that's not sustainable. Unless you really feel that you're having a self-defeating, fear-of-success thing, maybe try starting again with a gentler approach.

    There is no wagon.

Life happens, and some days are better than others. But you can't fail if you don't give up.

Injuries happen. The thing is, you don't have to lose too much of the gains... If you hurt yourself, you just adjust ... see if you can find a different form of exercise, or adjust your eating habits.

Take multi vitamins and try to get enough sleep so that you stay healthier.

But don't give yourself permission to fall off the wagon.

Falling off happens once or twice. If it happens all the time.. in reality, you're just jumping off.

im the same. its about momentum. while im into it, i dont want to stop. as soon as i take a break, i dont want to start again. it sucks. in my mind i know that once i start ill get back into it. but its just getting off the couch that is the hardest part.
