Hello everyone, bringing back the net calories topic once again in the forum!
I'm maintaining, working out twice a week. I do both cardio and some light weight training..but I was wondering, do I have to eat back just the calories burned with the cardio workout or the cardio+the stenght ones?
Thanks!

Choose to eat back or not eat back. Weigh yourself everyday for 4 weeks, take a weekly average. Compare Week 1 avg to week 4 average. If your gain is greater than 1 then do the opposite.

Your goal should be to find the maximum number of calories at which you lose weight. Food is fuel. Eat back all your calories for two weeks, then reevaluate.

  • Thank you. I'll try and eat them all back for 2 weeks and see how it goes!
