Calories Burned

Hello!

Tonight I wore my HRM for the first time. When I got on the treadmill, the HRM must have synced with the treadmill because it began to pick up my heart rate and show calories on the system. I have a Polar HRM.

The thing I'm wondering is the calories shown on the treadmill were different from what was shown on my Polar watch. About 50 calories difference.

Which should I trust?

the one you were wearing on top of your heart.

    Obviously.

My point is that the treadmill synced with the HRM I was wearing. Just like the watch does. The treadmill wasn't just doing an 'estimate' as it generally does when you just plug in your weight.

May not have synced calorie burn and just heart rate..... I would still go with your HRM for the calorie burn
