So I have a hernia. I have taken weights out of my workouts and I have been doing the resistance bands. However as of Tuesday it got really bad and now I can barely walk let alone exercise. I need advice/ motivation. Exercising allowed me to eat more now I can only eat 1200 calories and I am struggling to do that. This has really hurt my progress, I just lost 15 more pounds dieting and working out so I am devastated that I can't workout. What is worse is that the insurance I had was horrible now I have to wait until May 1st when my new insurance kicks in to have surgery. I am just devastated.

I had hernia surgery last July. I had to wait 6 months after my surgery before I could get back to exercising :-(
Everyone is different maybe yours will have a shorter recovery! Be careful, try not to make the injury worse

Does having a hernia effect your digestive system at all? If not Id suggest you eat more protein. More protein tends to make a person fuller for longer.
