I can't net any less - how do I expedite the process?

Most BMR calculators tell me my BMR is 1510, maybe 1550. The IIFYM calculator told me 1450, so if there's any evidence that one is more accurate, I'll be happy to lower it but I am very cautious about hitting starvation mode as I have in the past due to refusing to eat more than 500 calories for a few weeks. Thankfully my dedication to not eating lost and now I am more motivated by lean, fit females than just the idea of being thin, but 1/2 a pound a week is dreadfully slow. I stalled out at 140 when I wasn't eating, now I am at 150, undoing some of the damage after I ballooned back up when I started eating again.
I am trying hard to eat at least my BMR even though I am often still full around 1000; but I'm more committed now to trying to get a much of my recommended protein and vitamins and so on. I think last yesterday was probably the closest I have been to reaching what MFP suggests - I didn't hit my macros right but I only went a little over on sugar in comparison to how I usually eat, and I got my vitamins A, C, calcium, iron and protein to 100% or over.
I have also been making a point to consume enough water. It's hard to drink that much!
For note, despite that I'm the age group that drinks the most alcohol, it's been months since I had a drink. This is the norm. I have also been using a pedometer and try to log 5 miles a day. Since then I'll normally log at least 4 and have gotten to 8.5 in a day. My legs look better for sure.

what process??? Losing weight? 1/2lb a week is a good healthy rate for someone with just over 25lbs to lose.
If you really want this to be healthy and do it "correctly" then be patient.0 -
Why do you want to lose weight faster? Is there some event you're looking forward to?
If you want to be "fit" and not just thin, unfortunately the only way to do that is lift heavy weights and lose weight slowly.0 -
It seems long because 25 lbs, half a pound a week, is 50 weeks. There are 52 weeks in a year.0

Being 25 lbs lighter in a year sounds better to me than staying the same weight... Or worse, losing 25 lbs in 4 months, and then a year from now weighing 10 lbs MORE than you do right now.0

You didn't go into "starvation mode" from eating VLCD for a couple of weeks. Sorry.0

As a fit-not-skinny female, I will tell you this:
I don't worry about the scale. I could really care less what it says, and you should have the same frame of mind if you want to get "fit."
What I see in the mirror is motivation enough for me to keep eating what I eat and exercising the way I do. If I weighed 20 pounds more than I do but looked as good as an MMA fighter, I'm okay with that.
As far as the time frame goes, it's going to take a while. My first time losing weight, it took me 7 months to lose 25 pounds. After I had my baby, it took 4 months of TRUE dedication and adhering to my calorie goal to lose 15 pounds. And you know what? I'm still working because there is always room for fitness improvement. Be patient. This is not a race. You'll be working at this your whole life.0 -

You don't expedite the process, you come to terms with the fact that 1/2 a pound per week is reasonable and healthy for you at this point. Why be pissed? You learned a lesson - giving up because you're frustrated is not the way to go. So who cares if it takes you a year or even 2 or 3 years to get to goal. Be happy that you're improving your health and finally fueling your body the way you should instead of starving yourself and risking health issues.
Worry more about your health and less about what the scale says.0
