Always hungry and weight loss stalled

For the past month and a half I have been eating a net of 1290 calories a day. I eat lots of lean proteins, veggies and fruit and some carbs. I work out 4-5 days a week and always eat my workout calories. I log everything I eat and work off(using a heart rate monitor.) I have noticed the past week I am constantly hungry and it seems like my weight loss has stalled. I have lost 10 lbs so far and have 11 to go. I am 5'3" and weigh 131 lbs. Maybe my metabolism is changing? Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have a clue what is going in with me? :)

If you workout 4-5 times a week you should be eating more. Even if you're eating your calories back I think your initial daily goal is a little low.

If you could make your diary public, it will give everyone a little bit more info as to what you're eating and how much. Also why very little carbs, and how little? If you're not intentionally doing low carb (low enough to get you in ketosis) I don't see the benefit. Finding a nice balance of macronutrients should help you feel more satiated... even in a deficit.

Usually when I low carb it takes my hunger cravings away. If you are eating a lot of protein I would think you wouldnt have that problem. Maybe your work outs are too hard and you should cut back on those.
  • I shouldn't say very little carbs I guess, but I try to keep it lower. My diary is public now
  • My daily calorie is based off of what MFP has given me. Not sure how accurate it is. I have seen discussions on TDEE calculators, are these more accurate and if so which one? I have seen many. I am pretty new to all this so any information anyone could give me would be soooo helpful.

Try this.. might be a bit more accurate than MFP supplies. http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

I think it might be sugar. Try to keep that low - instead of skim milk - you should have whole and make sure that your carbs are complex - brown rice instead of white - When you are eating few calories - make sure they are all good quality,

most likely this. try upping your calories for a week or two. this will get your metabolism started back up again. its a great way to break plateaus.
