Hmmm.......i might have to look into those........
I have a box of Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter bars.............and after that's done, maybe i'll give the Quest bars a go at it.
These quest bars will blow you away. They're by far the best protein bars I've ever tried in my life. They taste like dessert.
Pop them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and they melt down to cookie dough texture and are just flat out unbelievable. I eat one a day and love ALL the flavors.
My favorites are apple pie, cinnamon roll, and chocolate brownie0 -
I didn't know they had a 'before' and 'after' on the PB cups. I ordered them in December so I don't know which batch that might have been.
It was more of a novelty than anything. I think if I want a PB cup in the future I'll just get some of the kickass ones that Justin's Natural makes. If I need a few more grams of protein I'll drink a shake with it.0 -
This is misleading. I thought you had actually tasted one and was telling us how epic they are. But if you have not...then, this thread stinks. Booo. LOL Seriously - while the Quest bars are great for protein and fiber, they are dry and not so tasty. I've tried just about all of the flavors and I can't seem to choke them down anymore. Not to mention you need a full glass of water to get through the bar. Nonetheless, I will hunt this down to try one for myself. Nothing like some chalky cookie dough protein to start the day.0

I must be doing it wrong. I find them just nasty after the micro. You have to eat it like immediately else it gets hard. PB&J is the only one I can tolerate anymore.0 -
The peanut butter cups were god awful and I ordered an entire box. I threw the majority of the box away.0

That's so strange! I eat mine super slowly too...they don't get hard on me. As a matter of fact they stay super soft and gooey. Weird...0 -
Thanks for the info and the code. Just ordered a box. Can't wait!0

Heh..heh.
I find the chocolate brownie ones get hard pretty quick. The bars dont seem to have a long shelf life either. Maybe the "Fresher" ones stay soft longer0 -
Thanks for the info and the code. Just ordered a box. Can't wait!
Cool! Make sure if you want to use the "SAMPLE" code again on your next order - you use a different email address. Otherwise it doesn't work. I think that code is supposed to be for new customers...but I've ordered from them almost 10 times now with different email addresses and they haven't stopped giving me free shipping yet haha0 -
^^^ Good to know! I love workarounds.0
-
Thanks for the code! I ordered 5 individual bars that I haven't tried yet including the new one. I can't wait to try them!0
-
Yeah, these are amazing! I just got them in tonight and tried one immediately. Awesome!0

I need a much more detailed review...0 -
Oh I can't wait. I love the brownie and banana nut.
As for the poster that didn't like them warmed, I found that if you heat them up too much they do get worse. I go for just about 10 seconds and they do stay soft and gooey. YUM0 -

Yeah? Like what? It's chocolate chip cookie dough, and it's pretty much that. They are awesome, and taste about as close to cookie dough as you can imagine a protein bar tasting. They passed the banana but as my new favorite flavor.0 -
A box of these just arrived at my door. It's not time for one, but I had to have a nibble. Absolutely delicious! Consistency is just like the little chunks you find in ice cream. I don't even think I'll have to microwave them!0

I've not had those Quest bars and wondered what is the calorie count, and where can I purchase some?
http://www.questproteinbar.com/ - you can purchase and find all info there If you use the discount code SAMPLE you get free shipping and an extra bar or peanut butter cups!
I actually really like the peanut butter cups...I eat them really slowly though to savor them so maybe that's why they're not unpleasant. I don't know what it would be like if you took a big honking bite out of one.
Thanks for the code! I just ordered 1 box of cookie dough and 1 of PB&J. Can't wait! I've tried the chocolate brownie and the peanut butter flavors, so far.0 -
Myth 27 /// A Protein Bar Is A Good Substitution For A Meal
TRUTH: Nope. Protein bars are highly processed, unless you make them yourself. Highly processed food requires fewer calories to digest, so that benefit is diminished. I love protein bars, but I eat them as treats to be eaten instead of, say, a Snickers bar.0 -
SCREW IT. im ordering some now.0

The chocolate chip cookie dough Quest bars ROCK!! BEST flavor by far...but I love most of them.
I eat these things about once every other day, which will probably get expensive. But they are SO worth it and are filling.0 -
i have a box of these being delivered today... cant wait to try them!!0
-
I am truly addicted to these things. I have one almost every day. Just ordered a couple of the new cookie dough ones to try and the sample pack with the banan nut muffin to try as well. The cost is well worth it!!!0
-
Best flavor ever is the White Chocolate Raspberry....they are better than a candy bar!! Get the ones dated after September 2013 as they modified them in December. Simply the best of the bunch!0
-
I agree. I'm full blown addicted, I ate 2 today, had to force myself not to eat another. This and cookies and cream are the bees knees. Best protein bar hands down!!! I love me some double chocolate chunk too!!0
-
Looks tasty. I haven't had a protein bar that I really enjoyed in ages.0
-
Cookies & Cream (newest flavor) is absolutely amazing. Only eating one is very challenging!0
-
Yes. The main trouble with them is that they are not larger!0
