Trying for the last time to Lose 80+ pounds! Help!!

Hi, My name is Alecia and I've been struggling with losing weight for years. I feel like I have let life pass me by because of my weight loss struggles. It's so hard sticking to a program and trying to make a healthy life style change. I know now that I can't do it alone. I need lots and lots of encouragement and motivation. If you are out there and feel the same add me! I need help and I would also like to try and help others!!!

    Congrats on making this much of an effort! First, it's going to take time. You didn't gain a bunch of weight in a week or a month and it won't come off that fast either. The most important thing is to realize how weight loss works. 3500 is a lb. 3500/7= 500 If you cut 500 calories from your diet, you'll lose 1 lb a week. I HIGHLY suggest iifym.com to figure out how many calories you should eat. Also, play with your macros a bit. (Protein, carbs, and fats) I PERSONALLY try to eat 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat diet but I hardly ever get it exactly. Buy a food scale and weigh EVERYTHING. Document EVERYTHING. Make sure you don't go INSANE on cheat days. This is a process with a lot of speed bumps, questions, and issues. It takes time but it's worth it. I'm a newbie too but these things really helped me jump start.
