Hello,
So about 4 weeks ago I started to do a fitness DVD around 3-4 times a week and I started to walk the dog further every day so at least half an hour a day of walking too.
I started to monitor what I ate on the app too and aimed for 1,250 cals a day which I always managed if not went over by 100 cals. Diet includes lots of fruit along with dairy, protein, carbs etc, kept it quite balanced although have cut out bread.
It's now been 4 weeks and I started at 10 stone 2 pounds, I now weigh 10 stone 13 pounds. I have never ever been this big and I'm so frustrated that nothing is working. My aim weight was 9 stone 7 pounds and now it just seems that is never going to happen.
Please help me

Three thoughts: 1) you might be trying to make too many changes at once, and are eating too little for your body to handle the changes gracefully, or 2) you might be retaining more water, or 3) you might be eating more than you think, or more than you used to eat, if you're not weighing your food accurately.
I'd calculate your basic calorie needs (basic metabolic rate) and try not to eat less than that, and aim for a 1/2 pound weight loss per week; slow and steady wins the race!0 -
I can't answer why this would have happened.
I can only suggest that you are eating more than you realise.
Weigh and measure everything and enter it into your food diary.
If you have a medical condition that requires you to take steroids you can retain a lot of fluid and weigh more. If you had heart failure and were retaining a lot of fluid the same thing. If your thyroid was under active weight loss is difficult.
Otherwise you are just eating more than you realise.0 -
How do you work out how much food you are eating?
Also, are you logging EVERYTHING?0 -
Did you weigh weekly? Just wondering if you gained every week?0
-
How exactly do you measure your food?0
