    Thanks! I kind of did my weightloss in 3 concerted bursts. So all up it took me a year but I possibly could have done it faster if I were consistent.

    The first 5 kg was really quick to come off - took about two months.
    After that I went to something called Outward Bound - basically 3 weeks of outdoor living and adventuring - and lost another 2kg in that three weeks.
    Then for about 8 months I just fluctuated at about 3kg over my goal until about 2 months ago when I really decided to pull finger.

    I have been on a 1200 cal plan but doing quite a lot of exercise. I have been eating back most of my exercise calories but not all of them.

    My efforts have really focused on cardio, as during the weightloss time I have run 3 half marathons. Now we are coming into winter in New Zealand I am going to get back to the gym and try to do the toning work I want to do.
