Going the extra mile challenge

I know we have been working pretty hard this month shredding calories and pulverizing fat. Who wants to kick it up a notch? I have vowed to give my body a "fat feast" this holiday season- making it eat all of the fat it has stored up.

In efforts to really get my body to "dig in" and get a 2nd and 3rd helping, I am amping up my calorie burn. I will challenge myself to walk a total of 20+ miles this week (12/13- 12/19).

Are you willing to go the extra mile this week? If so, log in your progress:

Monday- walked 2 miles @ park
Tuesday- walked 2 miles on treadmill
Wednesday ran 1 mile on treadmill
Thursday walked 2 miles outside
Friday ran 1 mile on treadmill
Saturday ran 1 mile in the park
Sunday walked 2 miles in neighborhood

    7000 calorie burn goal. Drum roll please:

    12/13 (Mon) 1154 calorie burned- 1/2 hr. weights; 1 hr. elliptical; 1 mile walk in mall
    12/14 (Tue) 1273 calorie burned- 1 hr. weights; 1 hr. elliptical
    12/16 (Thu) 984 calorie burned- 1 1/2 hr. weights; 1 hr. treadmill
    12/17 (Fri) 1818 calorie burned- 1 1/2 hr. weights; 1 hr. elliptical; 1/2 hr. treadmill
    12/18 (Sat) 2066 calorie burned- 1 hr. weights; 1 1/2 hr. elliptical

    Total calories burned this week: 7295
    Total miles: 23.7
