Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

It's easy to join - Just post here to begin!

You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

    I will try this. I think I will see what I do, just in the regular course of my day and then go from there for setting a goal.

    The 'high steppers' participating in the March challenge provided me with the motivation necessary to improve my step average by 3000 daily steps over my previous best month! Thanks guys!

    mlh612 - the 500k side-challenge carries over, but we've got one less day (but hopefully better weather) to do it in!

    Thanks to dancing for keeping it rolling - it's been fun!

    Ok count me in. I work away a lot but will try to hit 10000 per day.

    I have just bought a Fitbit Flex in anticipation & for motivation generally!

    11029 steps today (walked the dogs for 5 miles...get in)

    Spotted this post, and it has given me the extra kick to get a step counter - one reserved to pick up on the way home this evening and then lets see how badly being in the middle of report writing season is affecting my step count.

    Will probably be bad for the first week, but i suppose once i keep increasing every day that will be the main aim initially. Good luck everyone!
  • I'm in, got Pacer on my. iPhone - it talks straight to the app so brill ;)

    Going to aim for 10k steps twice a week as my base.

    as an aside how do I get the weight lost ticker at the bottom of my posts?
