Cheery and Hopeful, ready for the long "run".

I am new here, I guess you could figure from the main forum header. :) I'm trying to do this right and I'm still a bit skeptical. This is only the second site that I've tried to keep track on, and I'm already seeing that there are more accurate selections for foods and exercise. I'm a bit of an impatient person and I like to see results quickly, though I'm prepared to take it one day at a time.

If you want to be friends, you can add me. If you are an experienced member, I may have a lot of questions about this whole fitness life. I'm willing to hear pointers, but mostly I need to just stay focused and on track, with out getting discouraged.

I guess I'll start: "Who here has worked out today?" "How do you manage your time between work, exercise, and everything else?"

    Hi there! Welcome to MFP.... it's a great place to be. You'll get a lot of support & positive motivation here. :)

    I went to the gym today & got more than I bargained for. Appears someone was watching me & decided to workout with me. She really motivated me and pushed me to my limits. She kicked my butt!! Lol... :)

    That's awesome! I like to hear about people motivating each other. Did you know her, or was she just a random person that goes to the same gym?

    Random person. Just met her today. I guess she wants to be workout buddies, lol. She wants to try & meet on Tuesday & Friday. Really nice person. Perhaps she can see the potential in me!! :)
