I am tired of yoyo dieting and am trying to have a more liveable long-term program. If you have had or are having success living on higher calories let's be friends! We can encourage each other in the process!

I can certainly relate to those plans. I am following MFP and seem to be doing fine.0

Yes. And I've lost 100 lbs doing so. (265 ---->165lb)0

Yes, eating around 1800-2000, when my weight starts creeping up I go only as low as 14000

I net around 1700. Works pretty well for me, I plan on upping my calories soon so I can have a soft landing into maintainence.0
-
I eat 1869 daily I am not doing the MFP way ...I am doing Tdee-20% ...MFP exercise burns seems very erratic to me so the Tdee-20% method is great since the exercise is already built in0
-
Feel free to add me. I eat around 1600 - 1700 calories plus part of exercise calories back. I might lower it but not less than 1500. I'd rather lose a little more slowly and still enjoy myself!0

I'm at 1950 and it's working great lost 7lbs in just a week. Feel free to add me!0
-
I eat about 1900, working my way down slowly by making little cut backs and changes0
-
I was a cardio and low-cal junkie for years and I lost nothing - nada. I switched to weight lifting and higher cals and I am finally seeing results.0
-
MFP has me at 1580 currently, and I eat back at least half of my exercise calories. It started me at around 1750, so it seems to be working just fine.0
-
I aim for 1500 but also keep my carbs between 50-75. I have lost z30 pounds since January 31st and it seems to be working great!0
-
I eat around 1770 and work out 5 days a week!0
-
I'm eating 1570 to lose, but I plan on upping to 1900 to maintain afterwords.0
-
I hit 5100 yesterday and am working on 5000 today.:bigsmile:0

Yes I always eat 1500 or more. It's more sustainable for me and I'm in it for long term success!
Starting weight 202
Current weight 135
It definitely works :-)0 -
I eat between 1600 and 1900. MFP says I should be at 1810. I am on the downward slope. When I exercise, I only allow myself to eat back half of the calories.
Feel free to add me.0 -
Hi all, feel free to add me as a friend too! I tried the 1200/day and every day was a failure... So now I'm trying 1700-1800/day as it seems more sustainable for me over the long haul. I'm not worried about losing fast, I just want to lose PERMANENTLY this time! My goal is to build in more exercise and eat better foods than I do now.0

I aim for 1500, but i usually end up with 1600 - 1800. Anything under 2000 feels like a success to me though.0
-
Yuppers, I do TDEE minus 20% so I am about 1800. Anyone feel free to add me! :drinker:0
-
Feel free to add me too! I eat a minimum of 1950 and I add back half of what I exercise. I'm on a weight lifting program with just a couple days of HIIT cardio and I'm seeing results- and not suffering!!!0
-
I aim for 1500 net ... sometimes I'm a little lower and sometimes higher .... so far is working out for me0
-
I do 1200 when I am trying to lose weight-but when I am trying to maintain I do 1500-i do lift and run0
-
MFP suggested I eat 1500 calories
TDEE-15% suggested I eat 1800.
I eat 1800.0 -
2500-3500 a day. Food is gasoline for the muscles.0
