If your a middle aged guy trying to loose, I'm curious what your daily caloric target is?
Also your current height, weight and exercise level.
For reference I'm male, 51, 5'5", 170 lbs, light activity level and I'm curios what other members, similar to myself, are using for a daily calorie target and how is it working.

My maintenance calories are 2250 and I was eating 1200-1500 but ranging wildly in a stall so I upped it to 1800 and have stabilised. It's a fine line between cutting to much and too little. Experiment with it to see which level works for you.0

Thanks...I'm experimenting now because I was consistently losing 1 lb a week for 6months then stalled for the last month.
It seems like, when the stock recipe stops working, you just have go with trial and error using moderate adjustments.
That's what Ive started this week. I'm a little pissed because I'm stuck 1/2 a pound off my next major milestone weight and have target of 15 more pounds.
Thanks again0 -
