Your review on popular workouts - Please

I was thinking of changing up my workout. I know that a few of you are doing some of the Beachbody workouts and would like your input.

What workout are you doing?
How many minutes a day?
What equipment is needed (weights, balls, bands, etc and does it come with)?
What is the intensity?
What are your results and in what timeframe?
How do you like it?
Was it a good value for the price?
If I do the workout in the morning...will I still be able to walk to work (30 min flat surface)?

Please let me know as I do not want to spend money and not like the workout.

What workout are you doing? T25
How many minutes a day? 25
What equipment is needed (weights, balls, bands, etc and does it come with)? For Alpha (Yoga Mat), Beta ( Resistance band which is provided and Yoga Mat)
What is the intensity? Alpha - Moderate, Beta - Advanced
What are your results and in what timeframe? I'm 4 weeks into Alpha and I am down 8 pounds and 2 inches off the waist so far
How do you like it? Out of the 5 Alpha videos I love doing three of them and dread the other 2. Overall it's an easy to manage workout but it's challenging.
Was it a good value for the price? Yes
If I do the workout in the morning...will I still be able to walk to work (30 min flat surface)? I would recommend doing a zero week first (just doing the videos at a slow pace for a week) and let your body workout it's initial soreness. That way it won't affect you at work. Once that initial bout of soreness is over you should be fine.

With regards to Beachbody, I've only done Insanity:

-45-60 minutes a day over the course of 9 weeks
-No equipment is needed, save for good workout shoes and a good sports bra (as there is a lot of jumping about). A heart rate monitor is also highly recommended to make sure you're both working at a hard-enough intensity, but not too hard (i.e. not to go over your max heart rate)
    -Very intense, hence the name!
-I lost about 10lbs in 8 weeks (never finished the last week!) and about 2" from my waist.
-I enjoyed it very much because a) I like exercise DVD's b) I like intense workouts
-I borrowed it from a friend, so for me it was excellent price! But if I'd paid the original amount, I'd still say yes. There's plenty to keep you going, and I'm planning on doing it several times over so it'll get a lot of use.
-Yes, though really it depends on your level of fitness. You'll get muscle soreness, but walking can help relieve that.

I can't tell you weather you'd like the workout or not though, as I'm not you, and I don't know what your current fitness level is like or what your tastes are.

You'd be best to watch some of the infomercials on YouTube to see if you like the look of it. Insanity is very intense, and that's not for everyone. You don't have to be mega fit to do it, as you adjust the level to suit you. You don't try and keep up with the people in the video (unless you can). Also, if you have knee issues, you may want to avoid all the jumping moves (there are a lot of them), and you may feel that in that case this isn't the DVD for you.

Current fitness level is I would say average. The past 3 months, I have been working out with 10 lb dumbbells 3 times a week and zumba or HIIT or elliptical (Moderate intensity) for the other 3 or 4 days a week.

I want to do something that would help in losing the last 30 lbs and tone myself. I workout at home early in the morning, but I try not to do too much jumping as the stuff on the shelves would fall off. Basement is out of the question as it is only 6 feet high and I am 5'6". My TV is wall mounted so I would need to be able to see it and the space available is about 5' by 6'. I have no idea my percentage of body fat. I am 5'6" and 170 lbs.
