Could anyone help me estimate the calories in a giant sweet potato (7 inches long, 3 inches wide) cooked? I havent gotten a measuring set again so its hard to tell and it doesnt help that the database tends to measure by grams or cups.

Yea you need a scale. They are only $20 at BB&B.0

Can you weigh it? My guess is something that large would weigh at least 300-350 grams. The average small sweet potato I eat weighs between 100-150 grams. 100 grams is really small.0

Maybe try to compare the weight in your hand if you don't have a scale0

I had a medium sized one on Sunday and it was 305 grams. It was about 3" x 5". Hope that helps.0

Well my hands are pretty small so idk if this will be accurate but the potato is slightly larger than my hand.0

Weigh it on the scale at the grocery store when you buy it.0
