Today is State testing in the high school I teach at. The teacher's lounge was a plethora of cakes, pies, candies, cookies, donuts, sodas...you get the idea. I went in, grabbed a nice cold bottle of water, chatted with a few friends and left! I went in my classroom, ate my cooking light peanut butter yogurt crunch that I made last night, had my cup of coffee and started my day on the right foot. I also walked the entire time I was test monitoring instead of just sitting in a chair watching the kids. I feel like I accomplished something!

Awesome job! Sometimes it is hard to avoid those obstacles, I try to make sure once I know there is a "danger zone" that I avoid it.0

It actually was and when I was done making it last night I let my boys (5 and 7) sneak a bite. They LOVED it. I think this weekend I will make a huge batch of it for them to munch on throughout the week and put in their lunches.0
