F you do intake 3000 calories per day then I reckon even if you lowered them down to the reccomended daily allowance of 2500 per day and we're using your treadmill for at least half an hour a day, you should loose weight though if you out all your details into mfp, it usually works out what you should be having0

This site should have asked you for your personal details when you opened your account here? You then simply have to enter your goal loss per week under Goals on the home page and it'll then give you the amount of calories to eat per day. It may already be showing on your home page. Good luck!0

Wow yeah 3k calories is a crazy amount well first off not too sure how much 14 stone is (Stupid Americans) but My fitness pal does a great job of giving you a good cal intake so if you tell them your current weight and then what you want to be they should give you a caloric goal for the day called you maintenance. Typically when I cut I try to eat 300-500 calories under maintenance so if mfp gives you a 2k calorie goal for the day aim for about 1500-1700 if your cutting or trying to lose body fat. As far as the treadmill I would reccomend HIIT which is High intensity interval training. Basically you brisk walk 30 second then sprint 30 seconds and repeat the example above is a 1:1 ratio for hit so if your very new to working out feel free to modify that ratio however you want but the basics of it is to ramp ur heart rate up to a point where you burning fuel and then bring it back down and repeat it helps with your calorie burning during your workout and I love hiit because it also burns calories post workout. Heres a link if your interested ^_^ -> http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/wotw40.htm . But to some it all up 1) eat HEALTHY meaning no soda no fast food eat as clean as you possibly can even if that means going and cooking every single meal you eat 2) Count calories: this one is easy because MFP pretty much handles that Just make sure you stay at a reasonable deficit so dont under eat and dont go over your cals for the day 3) While HIIT is my personal favorite workout if you decide that its not for you simply getting on the treadmill and doing anything is beneficial and it will also get you in the habit of doing it on a daily basis. Because even a short workout is better than no workout.
