Not losing despite reduced calories

Getting fed up. I've been around 1300-1400 calories for 3 weeks and only once or twice over TDEE.

And I've basically lost nothing.

I weighed this morning (didn't log it) - 152.6lb. Weight has been between 154 and 151 (varying randomly) for 3+ weeks and doesn't seem to be shifting in any particular direction.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(

Help. Please.

First off, I'd say thats not long enough to see much result from that small of a deficit. Second, Are you weighing at the exact same time and under the exact same conditions each time you weigh? I recommend weighing in the morning, after relieving yourself, but before eating or drinking and with no clothes on. Third, and regardless of the other two things, I'd say you just aren't logging accurately. You need to weigh and measure everything. Guessing can be the difference between gaining a pound and losing a pound. Wouldn't hurt to throw in some exercise either.

Are you weighing and logging everything you eat?

I can't tell you how many times I truely thought that I was accounting for every food, only to realize that I was eating more than I actually thought. Especially with oils and fats.

I do weigh everything - but you might be right about being more careful in measuring cooking oil. I tend to guesstimate that, so you might be onto something there.

And I do do exercise. My job is sedentary but I walk a lot (I don't drive so it's the only way I get anywhere - walking 10+ miles a week) and I got fed up with logging all the little bits of walking everyday (to/from work) so I just upped the total a bit and stopped logging those. Not sure if that's in the 'rules' though. ;-) I probably could do more if I tried though. Thanks for the nudge - I'll put my mind to ways to do that around work, running youth club, choir... I'm sure there's some time in there somewhere if I can summon up the motivation!

    try this article.

    http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/of-whooshes-and-squishy-fat.html

I have found sometimes I don't lose for a couple weeks then bam...

As well if you walk a lot what is your activity level set at? if it's not at least slightly active you have it too low.

    I will read that, thanks.

I set it to slightly active, which came out at 1430, I think. I reduced it manually to 1300 though because I wasn't convinced I was *that* active...! I put it up from 1200 though because I was tired of it 'shouting' at me for being below the target it gave me.
