I am a big sunflower seeds junkie! I just wanted to get some insights on whether I should stop eating sunflower seeds or reduce. I haven't eaten much lately but summers coming up and thats when I usually have a bowl a day. Thank you for any input on whether sunflower seeds are nutritional or not.

For any food, just check the data on the package. "Nutrition" is a wide variety of things. If you are doing a low cal diet, it is easy to go overboard with them. BUT they have a ton of vitamins and good fats. You just have to decide is that 200 cals worth so and so.

Sunflower seeds are great nutritionally, but they are very calorie dense so if you're trying to lose weight a bowl a day is far too much. You'll also not want to go overboard with them as they are high in omega 6 fats, so balance them out with walnuts and pumpkin seeds which are higher in omega 3 oils.

Seeds (and nuts) are great for helping hit your fat and protein macros. Just be careful to weigh and log your portions. I like to mix them in yogurt.
