But staying well within my calorie limit (I don't even bother uploading fitness calories). My carbs are so high because I am following a vegan plan and feel AMAZING. I tend to eat lower fat, higher carb. Because I eat so many fresh fruits and veggies and smoothies.
Anyone else eat this way and lose weight consistently. I know I am going to be met with "stay within the calories and you will lose weight" because that seems to be the answer and I am not saying it isn't true! But how much does the proportions of calories matter? So far in four days, I have lost 4 pounds. But I believes its just water weight and switching to healthier foods in general.

You need a balance. Higher carb is fine if it works for you, but make sure to get adequate protein to help maintain LBM.0

I eat around 200-250g's of carbs a day, but I consider that low carb for me......If your hitting your protein and fat macros. enjoy your food.0

Yes, LBM = lean body mass. You can lose muscle while eating at a deficit if you're not doing resistance training and eating adequate protein.0

This diet sounds like it's missing things. Beans and nuts do not moo, cluck, etc, but will have plenty of protein. So does quinoa, social ramifications of foreigners making a people's traditional food source too expensive for them aside. They also do not have your B12, which without supplements won't be a problem right away because the body has stored B12 to go through for a while. But it will be eventually. And when it does, there may be shots to be taken. As in syringe and needle, stab yourself in the thigh shots. If you want to keep going on this long term, start taking vitamins and start sooner rather than later.0
