I was diagnosed with shingles and I was told it can be related to stress. I am thinking this is due to bodily stress. I workout strenuously for 2-3 hours a day. I do it because I enjoy it. However, I have to take a few days off to recover and my question is.. will this affect my progress? I'm finally starting to see great definition in my abdominals and I by no means want to rid this. I also have an event next thursday where I will be in a swimsuit.

I think as long as you watch what you are eating and maintain calories at a good maintenance level then you will have no issues. A few days should not affect your progress unless you went a serious food binge.

Just watch your calories. I have been really sick the last 5 days, so I haven't been able to workout either. I have been making sure to keep my calorie intake at MFP levels

That's. . . a quite impressive amount of time devoted to exercise.
