small/compact exercise equipment? help

I no longer am able to go to the gym so i was wondering if anyone had any good experiences with some small equipment that would be easy to move from room to room and not clutter my bedroom. anything that is lightweight/compact... ANYTHING...looking to buy several different things (one that works abs,one that works legs, etc, etc.
any experience with a certain brand of equipment that you like? would be appreciated. thanks

You could look into You Are Your Own Gym. There is an app, I think I paid like $2.99 and a book (not sure about price). No equipment needed.

I recently got a kettlebell. Love it! It has been getting the best of me...but it is definitely an awesome workout and is small/ compact and mobile. I got one that is the "Go Fit" brand and it came with a DVD. I also have a yoga ball.

Adjustable dumbbells are a good investment. They work everything.

If you have the room (and $$$) for it, a Torque F7 is a great compact fold-away home gym: http://torquefitness.com/residential/products/f7-fold-away-strength.html

I have one, and it's awesome

Resistance bands. Lightweight, very effective, easy to store and travel with, and there are tons of exercises that you can do. If you want a whole program, there are many that can be adjusted to use them (see youtube for examples) and I love that Chalean Extreme, P90X3, and T25 all show how to use the resistance bands for the workouts. Or if you want them for free, there are lots of full length youtube workouts with them.

I'm in a similar situation. honestly, the most important thing I've found is a yoga mat. I wound up with an unexpected rug burn from doing crunches on the carpet. So, no matter which way you go, get a yoga mat!!

The only other things I have at home are a few sets of hand weights and some workout dvd's.

Gotta second (or third) the Kettle Bell recommendation. I like Amy Bento's DVDs but there are lots on YouTube too.
