Hi there, I started my journey years ago and have yo-yo dieted my way back to a weight to big for my body. I am committed this time, already down some but have more to go.

I am looking for friends to help with advice, cheers and encouragement! I will return the favor. Send me a friend request if you don't want to go it alone either!

You guys rock!

    Hey Lisa,

I know that feeling of struggling with yo-yo dieting, I am determined this time to change my lifestlye and never diet. Although we are already friends, I can keep you updated with progress and share tips. Feel free to send me a message any time :)

General changes I have made, is to have a balanced meal and exercise. I have cheat days once a week when I crave lots of chocolate or some processed carbs. I am vegetarian, so I just like to keep things simple and easy so I don't get overwhelmed. Also, I found that I like to have somewhat the same meal everyday, this makes it easier to cook and controls any binging. I change it up after a week. Basic things that I eat:

Bfast: fruit/cereal/oats (but not a big bfast person)
Lunch: kale chips, red kidney beans curry and rice/sweet potato, quark cheese
Dinner: french beans w/ olive oil and garlic, sweet potato, quark cheese
    Snacks: oranges/dark chocolate/hot chocolate

Next week, I hope to make grilled veggie sandwiches, lentils and beans. I guess I like to cook some things in bulk. But I am sure this might not be for everyone.

    Anyways, good luck
