I love track and field, swimming, diving, gymnastics, pole vault, etc etc.

It's funny. I am not a huge sports fan otherwise...but something about the Olympics gets me! Ever since the 84 games in LA, when I was 10, I have been addicted!

The opening ceremonies are so fun! I love the parade of nations too! I hear the lighting of the torch is an amazing sight this year!

I didn't catch the ceremonies! but today all they are talking about is the american couple who was stabbed that day visiting a tourist attraction by a Chinese man who then jumped to his death after killing the man and injuring the woman....they were relatives of a coach for USA.....I feel bad.....to me I'm thinking the man was mentally ill....and it was random....that was really sad....but all they do talk about it...I guess that's the way of the media though....:ohwell:

    hugs!

I got all teary eyed when the little boy who survived the quake in China walked in with Yao Ming. When asked why he helped his fellow classmates, he replied that he was the hall monitor and it was hi job!!:heart:
