Suggestions of Food/Drink to repair Muscles after Exercise??

I did a Kettlebells class on Tuesday and my muscles still hurt so much today that I'm having to cancel my other class - any ideas for fast ways to repair the muscles?? Thanks :smile:

    You can try stretching, massage, and doing a light workout (active recovery).

    As far as food, eat healthy & balanced, and stay hydrated.

    **Make sure you stretch well before and after workouts.

    **Lots of water.

    **Protein

    **Bananas

    I personally mix coconut water, banana (maybe some berries too), and protein powder after intense runs/workouts.

    any new activity is going to give you an extra level of soreness.

    like others have said, warm up properly before hand, cool down and stretch afterwards. drink plenty of water, have a banana, and some chocolate milk.
