New to fitness pal...

Hey Everyone!
I am new to fitness pal, but unfortunately not to gaining and losing weight! I started a new diet a few days ago. I am down 2.6 pounds so far. I don't expect to keep such a high weight loss throughout my diet, just a steady weight loss. I started at 259.0 and I am now down to 256.4. Excited for what's to come...excited and somewhat nervous about sticking to the diet this time. I have to admit that using myfitnesspal.com has made it much easier to keep track of everything and also it has been good for keeping me accountable for what I eat and how much I exercise. Well, I have good hopes for the future...and I want to wish anyone else in the same weight loss position the best of luck as well! Good luck!

    Welcome and good job on your loss so far! It's a process but being constant is the most important thing. :) Keep up the hard work!

    Welcome! MFP is a great place to learn about how you are nourishing your body. It's also really good for motivation.

    Congrats on your success so far. Keep up the good work. Remember, this process is going to take time. It's a change in lifestyle. Staying consistent and staying motivated will help you achieve your goals. Especially here on MFP. If you ever feel discouraged, you can always look at stories and get motivation from your MFP friends. They are always here for you. Feel free to add. Good luck on the rest of your journey.
