Hey everyone,

I haven't posted much on the forums so bare with me if my post sounds confusing lol

lately i have been finding it hard to stay motivated not just with workouts but also not seeing the greatest results on the scales.

The first two weeks i lost 2.2 kilos which is awesome cause that's what i aimed to lose is a kilo a week :) but i just weighed myself today and only lost 600grams :( and i don't understand why! i have not cheated myself and have actually been working out even harder then the first two weeks i am currently 147 kilos and i know i should be losing much more then 600 grams....can anyone shed some light for me? any advice would be awesome! Also how do u keep yourself motivated when 1. your not seeing physical results 2. dont get great numbers on the scales 3. when the workouts just hurt too dam much....like i said i am struggling.

oh btw i am doing leslie sansone 5 mile advanced walks as my chosen excercise if that makes a difference on the advice :)

Hope everyone has a great day/night :)

Any loss is a good loss! Weight loss will never be linear. One week you could lose, next you might not. It doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong or not doing enough. This is a game of patience and perseverance. There are many things that can influence what the scale says. Water weight from sodium, exercise, or bodily functions. When you weigh can make a difference, so make sure to weigh in at the same time, place, clothes, etc. Stay consistent and log everything and you'll see the fruits of your efforts. It took me a few months to see real physical changes. I took weekly pictures to keep me motivated. If you haven't read already, this is a great informative read!

Thanks sugar yes it is a bit difficult as i am using the scales from my local chemist ...until i can afford to buy a home one that is accurate and takes more then 100kilo limit weight >< i guess i didn't start off on the right foot cause i never took pictures (tho i do have ones just not from the start of my weight loss) i should start doing that now, i also have not taken measurements which i have heard are more accurate then scales. i know any weight loss is a good i guess i just felt like it should be more like i said :)

oh and the sodium yes its a bugger been trying to stay away from it as i bloat up very easy! and get swollen feet and such i had a feeling when i weighed in that it might be water retention ><

Thanks for the link i have been meaning to read that :)

once again thanks for the reply i appreciate it :)
