Hi
I have looked at my reports for the last few days analysing my food intake and I have a high carb diet. What percentage should I be having for each split - carbs/protein/fats?

I think it's more of a preference thing and will depend on your goals. I do 35/35/30 and have did 40/30/30 in the past.

I'm currently doing 30/40/30 but interested to see other replies in case there is a better split out there :)

To lose weight, all you need is a calorie deficit. If you are happy with what you're eating, keep at it and don't worry about numbers. I use the 20P/30C/50F split because that makes me feel good - keeps me feel full and energized and I get to eat what I like. Protein (meat) is expensive, carbs and fat is cheap. I eat as much protein as I think I need, not more, because too much protein will act just like carbs in my body. Carbs for convenience, taste and habit. Fat for taste, texture and satiety. I aim for 1 gram of protein per kilo bodyweight, then the rest sort of snaps into place by itself.

Im doing a 40/30/30 split at the moment.

    Here's a great thread though:

I started at the default setting of 50/30/20 but after a couple of months changed it to 40/30/30. The change has worked well for me.
