Are there any sword fighter guys out there?
My boyfriend was an ARMA instructor for 8 years before he moved to the mid-west.
We have waster practice together, it's scary but fun, I'm down.
Well, I've noticed he always leaves HIS waster at my house.
They're both technically his, but mine is lighter.
The reside next to each other at night, like he and I, but then he takes "mine" home.
He brings it back a couple days later, and we work out again.
Is there some strange significance to this?
You would think if he wanted to practice movements at home he would take HIS waster.
Maybe he likes the light one more.
I just like waking up and finding my boyfriends sword on the couch.

Slightly disappointed, I was expecting dirtier sword talk
But I am intrigued by actual sword fighting. That sounds like an awesome and unique activity for you two to do together0 -

Clearly he's practicing using your sword and will frame you for murder when your prints are all over the bloody murder weapon.0

Maybe he's being chivalrous and leaving you his to practice with because it's heavier? I use a heavier sword in training than in sparring, and it makes me faster.0

On-topic, he must trust you a lot to leave you alone with his sword0 -
Also in, expecting more inappropriateness than we got!
Sounds like your boyfriend is being sneaky! Honestly, leaving his sword at yours all the time...0 -
Obvious.....he's making sure YOU don't practice without him. You must be really good for him to feel threatened.0

I use a sabre rather than a sword and use a heavier and lighter sabre depending on what I want to accomplish. If I am learning or perfecting moves I use the lighter one, if I am training for the real thing I use the heavier one.0
