Need help adding pictures to topic!

So I tried adding pictures to a topic and only the link shows.. Can someone yell me how to add pictures please? Thank you!

  Use [ img ] before the link, and [ /img ] after the link. But without spaces between the brackets.
  
  So, for example,
  
  [ img ]http://www.photobucket.com/whateverimage1246[ /img ] (but with no spaces at all)
