Motivational Quotes or Sayings

Anyone have any motivational quotes they rely on to get them through the tough days or workouts? I have a dry erase board that covers the time/distance display on my elliptical. Staring at quotes is so much better than watching the time tick by. I try to change them every week or so. Just curious to see others' favorites.
The theme for the week is excuses. They are just so much easier to come up with some days than actual reasons to stick to exercising and dieting. They are my biggest enemy on this journey! Feel free to add me if your brain thinks along the same lines. Support seems to battle those excuses better than anything!
Here's mine for the week:
"You can either have results or you can have excuses, but you cannot have them both."
"Excuses don't burn calories"
"Be stronger than your excuses"
And 1 that stays on my board or on my mind "Once I lost my excuses....I found my results"

    One of my favourites is:

"If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you."

    A few other good ones:

"If you are tired of starting over then stop giving up"

"You will never motivate others until you learn to motivate yourself."

Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.

    Progress rather than perfection.

    Do your next right thing.
  • "You can make excuses all you want, but at the end of the day all you'll have are your poor excuses and another wasted day"

"EXCUSES are the nails used to build a house of failure"

"I don't have time is the grown-up version of the dog ate my homework"

"Fitness is like marriage, you can't cheat on it and expect it to work"

Just a few of my favs! Good luck!

    Another I just thought of...

If you keep doing what you keep doing, you're going to keep getting what you're getting.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

"You'll die fat and single if you don't lose weight."

ETA: Not talking about anyone else, but that is very pertinent to my situation.

I use tons of quotes to help keep me motivated! Here are a few:

    "Don't make excuses, make progress."
"You can feel sore tomorrow or you can feel sorry tomorrow. You choose."
"You can have results or excuses, not both."
"The pain of being overweight is far worse than the pain of working out."
"No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch."
"If it's important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse."
"Suck it up and one day you won't have to suck it in."

“The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.”–Benjamin Mays

“Raising the bar” Every time high jumpers try to go a little higher they literally have to recreate themselves. They have to rethink who they are. They then base their new goals, not on past attempts, but on new perceptions formed by thinking differently about themselves. Are you ready to redefine who you are and raise the bar? - WJ McKenzie

If your goals don't scare you, then you aren't aiming high enough.
