Hello everyone, I am tired of what I have been eating so I am looking for some suggestions. I have been eating eggs and turkey sausage, homemade soups, lean cusines, chocolate, banana, and peanut butter smoothies. Mulitgrain cheerios, dry as an evening snack. I have already cycled through greek yougurt and salads, chicken breast and veggies.
Really looking for something new and different. Not affraid of international flavors or cooking.
Thanks!

Thai or Indian curries, Mexican bean bakes, moussaka, spinach and ricotta cannelloni, risottos, paellas, stews, try stuffing your chicken breasts or wrapping them in pancetta...
I love browsing recipe sites for inspiration too0 -
I agree with the Thai or Indian. Yum.
I try to do Chicken on Sundays (Grilled breasts or BL/SL Thighs) then chop and use them a couple different ways during the week:
a - Black beans, brown rice, corn, salsa & chicken - YUM
b - brown rice, peas, corn, tiny bit soy sauce & rice vinegar, Siracha & chicken - Yum.
c - small tortilla, 1/2 T natural PB spread on it, dry cole slaw mix, shredded carrot, (toss slaw & carrot in a tiny bit of rice vinegar, soy sauce, & siracha & put some of the mix on the tortilla), top w/ chicken and some more Siracha - DOUBLE YUM.
I too have been getting back in a food rut so I look forward to other's replies to you! :-)
For breakfast I do like lightly sauteed asparagus with garlic & onions over eggs. But I do get burnt out on it (maybe now that it's spring and I have my own asparagus to harvest [should it ever stop snowing] my taste for it will come back).
I too have been sick of breakfasts - so I'm going to experiment w/ making breakfast cups this weekend (some shredded or diced potatoes, canadian bacon, eggs, and maybe a little bit of cheese = put all in a muffin tin & bake). I'm not sure how the calorie count will be, but that would be some change I could do on Sunday then keep extras in fridge for breakfasts all week.0 -
Also - I have recently given up wheat and discovered that I love Van's Perfect 10 Crackers (GF kind of course) with a Laughing Cow Garden Veggie Cheese wedge (45c each)... so yummy & sinfully creamy for a snack. I would need to do a full serving of the crackers (10) plus 2 wedges and a large glass of water for it to be a filling snack though.0

SkinnyTaste and EmilyBites are among my favorite food blogs for ideas, I also like the Cook This Not That series. I believe learning cooking basics is the key to creating variety in the diet so I suggest picking up a copy of How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman.0
