Hi, I'm really enjoying my MPG journey and think I'm in a good place with my diet. I swim twice a week and walk at a moderate pace for at least 40mins each day. I have a 'problem' area though....my hips, any suggestions on the best type of exercise for getting rid of the inches on the hips?

for me i found choosing healthy carbs such as wholemeal pasta and brown rice bread etc helped, along with squats, lunges and brisk walking...
In 6 weeks i can see dramatic changes.0 -
That's a good tip, I will try that. I do need to do some isolated exercise like squats etc, so will work that into my week. Thanks!0

Any exercise will burn fat and unfortunately you can't spot reduce. Jillian Michaels dvds slimmed me down all over. Don't wish all your hips away though as I hated my wide hips and now I've lost 10 inches I miss them!0

That's a really good point, I do love my curves but maybe just a bit more toned : )0

I have the same issue, not possible to make them much smaller without starving yourself and that's no fun! I'm just working on toning the booty so I'd recommend going for that. Squats!!0

Time at a deficit.
Spend any amount of time around here and you'll hear "you can't spot reduce" - because it's true.0 -
I used to hate my hips but I have to admit they help make my waist look smaller, kinda makes up for boob loss.0
