I'm O-.
Give blood.
Have two (I think) Type O albums.
But unfortunately I have a basic grasp of nutrition and common sense. So I'm out.0 -
Come on guys. Even vampires need friends..especially friends that put out (blood that is...)0

My husband is O-, I'm A+. Do this mean I need to start making seperate meals?. And what does this mean for our kids, how the heck am I supposed to feed them without knowing theiir blood types
Looking at that chart though, does seem to describe the hubby pretty well. He has a super fast metabolisim, and is never sick for more than a 2 days. And running and cycling are his favorite exercises. And he is a pretty good leader0 -
The blood type diet is nonsense.

Hi I'm looking for blood type O friends. I feel best when I eat for my blood type. I track everything and like to work out. My pms week, every month is still a challenge for me, and some months just seem worse than others. I keep reading up on different suggestions and trying new ideas to cope during that time.
Good luck0 -
Mine is red.0

I'm AO+
"O" well
You cannot be AO+ ... O means that you have neither A nor B antigens...0 -
I'm O but never knew there was a healthy way to eat based on blood????0
-
Hmm yeah no this couldn't be more wrong for me!0 -

Someone's genotype can be AO, but their phenotype would be A. A and B are dominant over O. A and B are co-dominant with each other:
AA genotype = A phenotype
AO genotype = A phenotype
BB genotype = B phenotype
BO genotype = B phenotype
AB genotype = AB genotype (i.e. both antigens)
OO genotype = O phenotype0 -
I tried this diet but the blood bank wouldn't sell many any blood . . .0

That's because there isn't.0 -

Well, they're playing the odds. In any given group of type O people, some of them will fit this description. Others will want it to fit so they'll focus on the parts that sound like them and gloss over the parts that don't.
They're also playing the odds on what foods will make the most people feel better-- dairy and wheat are common intolerances.0 -
I don't know my blood type, but it wouldn't matter since I eat for my hair colour
*giggles*0 -
I'm blood type O, and yes, I feel much healthier eating for my blood type.0

I am O+, have the book, read it and saw myself in it. Need to review it again.0

Mine is O- and I've never tried to eat for my type. What the heck are we supposed to avoid? Let me guess...carbs?0

This thread was surprisingly easy to skim all the posts in all three pages. I have no idea what that means.0
