    "quality" calories

    "detox" from sugar

"addictive power of sugar and flour"

    "Milk is evil"

Some of these are fine, but some are setting off my bull**** bingo alert.

ETA: I do agree that eating fat is good for you as long as you stay within your calories. The problem I have with atricles like these is that they make things too complicated. Here's my philosophy:

For weight loss: calories in < calories out
For body composition: get enough protein and lift heavy
For overall health: get enough fat, micronutrients, water, rest (sleep and rest days), maybe some cardio
For your sanity: don't eliminate a whole group of foods for no medical reason (trigger foods should temporarily be eliminated and slowly reintroduced)

It's part ok. 6 through 10 are total bullsh!t. 1 through 5 are meh. Kinda partially true but a lot is left out to fully explain. Anyone who says you have to detox from sugar, I just kinda ignore everything they have to say. I can't get passed the scam and I'm waiting for the sell on the secret detox formula.

Dude, you don't know how right you are! While I was looking at the site I got a pop-up (not sure how it got past my blocker) for a 10 day detox program!!

Some of what he said made sense. I do think there's too much sugar/high-fructose corn syrup/"evaporated cane juice" in packaged foods and that most breakfast cereals should really be labeled as desserts. The site seemed to be a platform for selling his books and supplements more than anything, though. I wanted to take one of the quizzes and needed to provide an e-mail address. If he really cared about educating the public he wouldn't be collecting e-mail addresses first.
