Hi! So i've just startd going back to the gym after a long break.. I've gone 5/7 days, and so far not lost any weight.
Workout consists of ~25 minutes of cardio, along with ~30mins of weights.
I'm aged 18, ~6.3 feet and weigh 117KG
My diet is consisting of ~2000 calories, mainly consisting of vegatables/fruit/meat
I drink ~ 3.5 Litred of water each day
Am i doing something wrong, or am i just not waiting long enough?

Not waiting long enough. Your weight will normally randomly fluctuate several pounds day to day due to water retention especially if you are female due to your monthly cycle. These fluctuations can obscure weight loss caused by fat loss over the course of a week. Generally speaking it takes months to confirm that you are indeed losing weight. Best to keep with it and weigh in at the same time of day once a week over a month or two.0

Patience.
Give it 4-6 weeks and see where your at.
New workout routines can cause water retention and mask weight loss. As your body gets used to the workout routine, the water retention will subside and you should start to see the scale move in a downward direction. Just keep in mind that weight loss takes time.0 -
Weigh all food and log exercise accurately and if you eat a deficit the weight will go.
Calorie deficit for weight loss, exercise for fitness!0 -
my guess would be water weight gain from working out, if it doesnt change in 2 weeks i'd think something else is the culprit.0

It's only been a week. Be patient.0

If it didn't take you a week to gain, why would it take you a week to lose?0

One week is nothing ! Keep at it ! you will need to observe and record and adjust perhaps you are eating too much? or too little? Perhaps you need more or less exercise!? What is your current goal?0

You shouldn't expect to see changes for 4-6weeks, although chamges are happening. Keep it up!0

A 6'3" female? This is a guy! But with everything else, I agree. Patience is key (this, from someone who has none!). I don't care what anyone says, it is MUCH easier to put in 5 pounds than to take off 5 pounds. So unfair, so go ahead and ***** and moan about it, but just realize that is the way it is and figure out how to deal with it. Think about it too much, it will drive you crazy and it will drive you off the wagon because you will get discouraged.
Good luck!0 -

I think if you dont see weight loss for 4-6 weeks, you're doing something wrong.0
