My main goal for the week is to work on getting me back on track, well as on track as I can.. Ive had soo much going on lately that I haven't been able to keep up with everything. So Ive been slacking a little bit. Ive been taking care of myself.. Just not as much as I would like to. After Christmas things ARE getting back on track. Gonna get "organized" for the new year. Although I haven't been trying hard i still notice that I am thinner up in my rib cage area,, I haven't been gaining inches back.. Which is good.. Soo happy to see that. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.. and if you dont celebrate Christmas.. i hope you have a great week..0

So, I haven't done ANY challenges, I just wasn't feelin' it. But that's ok, because I've still kept myself busy. This time of year i'd rather spend as much as possible with my family, especially after losing Grandpa and Grandma McKenna. So I've been just focusing oon my own and doing what I can when I can. I don't plan on losing much this time of year, but I love the fact that I have been maintaining which is often part of the final battle. If I lose any great, if not, that's great too. And if I gain water weight, so be it. I'm thankful for this group and the friends I've made.0

Although I love the challenges, I have not really been going full force. This time of the year...little sun...gloomy weather..tends to suck the life right outta me.
I, too, enjoy the family time. I have only gained 2 lbs...not exercising, not eating quite right. I plan on getting through the holiday eating as well as I can and then look out!
May you all have a blessed holiday! Enjoy your family, hug them, appreciate them...for you never know when they will no longer be with you.
See you all in the New Year!
Love, Linda0 -

It sure won't be an easy week... I just have to stay focus but still enjoy every little things we do to get ready for the holidays.
Wishing you all a great week before Christmas. Hope everyone will take the time to relax and not stress too much on every little details... a nice warm bath with candles on Wednesday night would probably help us relax before an ectic weekend!
In this season of gratitude, I am thankful for your friendship and support.
Let the spirit of love gently fill our hearts and homes. In this loveliest of seasons may you find many reasons for happiness.

Thanks for doing these weekly challenge posts! They have been so helpful! Very much appreciated.
This week my CW is 180.6. Loss of 1.6lbs this week. Yay for a loss! I wasn't so sure I could pull one off this week... I have NOT been exercising or eating like I should.
This week for challenges -still trying to do the whole 30 days shred video. I've only tried it twice. So this week I want to get through it 3 times. Also have already started off with mediation. It's just as much a part of a healthy life as exercise. It's mental exercise.
Total loss: 6lbs in 8 weeks0 -
I've lost another 1lb this week, that makes my total on this challenge 6lbs.
This is such a great group, thanks to all of you for making it what it is
I'm going to take the next 2 weeks or so as they come.
Hopefully I will stay mainly on track, but if not, that's fine.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, see you in the New Year for the new challenge0 -
I think this group is my Christmas Present this year. I didn't know that I needed you guys, and now that I have you, I can't get through a day without you. Thank you all for being such great friends. *hug*
We'll make it through the holidays and will have a fantastic start to the new year. I'm sure of it!0 -
No clue as to my weight this week, last weigh in was 175 and my GW was 174 for this challenge but I was getting a little scale obsessed so I had the husband take it away until Christmas Eve when I will do my final weigh in The nice thing is I keep avoiding all these treats since I don't know if I'm up or down from the last weigh in!0
-
Jsecret, I am totally with you on the scale obsessed thing. I keep justifying it as "let's see where I am so I know how hard to work for Wednesday..." and c'mon, no good comes from that! :laugh:0
-
Alright everyone, the weigh in log is updated I'm sorry I've been such a slacker on keeping them up to date! Just hasn't been as easy to keep up on as the Halloween challenge.0
-
My plateau is FINALLY over! The scale has gone down this morning for the first time in over three weeks! Yay! I'm very glad - that was making me NUTS. It was my first plateau and hopefully my last one for a LONG time.
But seeing as the scale didn't move for so long I doubt I will make the 12 pound goal. I'll keep plugging away though and get as close as I can.
I need to lose 3.6 pounds in the next 4 days to make it to goal - so needless to say I don't think I'll be losing nearly a pound a day. lol Oh well, like I said, I'll get as close as I can. I'm just really glad my plateau if finally OVER!0 -
Stacy, I'm so happy you've broken through your plateau! That is wonderful.0
-
@ Stacy.. Atleast you tried.. You probably would have made it if it werent for the Plateau.. I myself have been having problems.. Trying to make it thru the holidays..0
-
I was convinced I weighed 166, but for some reason it didnt sound right. So I came on here to look at my last weigh in and I only weigh 156 :O
Being forgetful is reat sometimes, shows I have lost the obsession with weight though if I cant remember.0 -
Good morning Ladies!
I just want to share my joy from last night! I went shopping yesterday and I wanted to buy myself something new(we are celebrating my mother's 60th birthday on Sunday) but not too expensive since I'm losing the weight. I went to Pennington store, my usual clothing store. I went straight to the ''ON SALE'' racks. I was looking through the 4X and 5X as I usually do but wasn't finding anything interesting. The sales lady came to me and wanted to help me. She pulled out a few 2X and 3X to try them on... I looked at her like saying ''are you kidding me''... and to my surprise 2X was a perfect fit!!!!!!      I was so happy I bought 2 tops at 13$ each (and new undies since what I've got right now, I need suspenders to hold them up there!!!).
I went back home with a big smile on my face and so happy in my heart!!! It is rewarding after all! I was able to shop all day without being sore and without not being able to walk this morning! Woo hoo! Another great success for me!
Happy Tuesday!:flowerforyou:0 -
Congrats Stacy and Chantal!!!! That's wonderful news!!!
It's still TOM here so of course my scale is going the wrong direction for now. Just going keep on keepin' on and maybe I'll see a change for the better come Friday morning. I doubt I'll weigh in Saturday because Fri is my parents (Dads side of the family) party and it never starts earlier than 10p. My uncle lives literally diagonally across the street from them and is ALWAYS the last to show up. He'll walk out of the house and forget something, end up watching tv in the process, etc... So it will be a late night for me. I know there will be finger foods, cookies, veggie tray, cheese, etc... but I've never been much of a cookie fan so that won't be too hard to do. We always have homemade wine though, so that's another story!
Then Christmas morning, Nick and I are headed back to my moms for our person littler Christmas, then to Nick's Grandpa's house for his side AND THEN on the road to Quincy, IL (about 3-3.5hrs away) sometime after 4pm..busy busy!! I'll have my phone though, so I'll be able to logs foods and such. I think I have have posted this once before, like last week or so, but, If I don't see you before Saturday:0 -
I finally got back on the wii fit.. Im exactly where I started.. Which sucks.. but is better than gaining more than where I started. ill take it for now.. Hoping to make it thru Christmas without a gain.. Wish me luck.. I gotta start being more active again.. Ive been sooo depressed lately.. I just sit.. ONE of my resolutions.. Keep moving..0
-
I need to get weighed too, but I daren't
I knwo the depressed feeling April, it suck and to make it suck more for the last month or two I have been on antidepressents and pain killers that make you gain weight0 -
So I had this GRAND idea to have my husband put my scale away until Christmas Eve so I wouldn't obsess over it... the first few days went fine and I hardly noticed. Saturday I was pretty antsy since that's usually my weigh in day... Sunday I was begging him for my scale and making up reasons why I "needed it". By this morning I was turning the house upside down looking for it (with no luck).
I want to weigh in sooo bad! I'm very on the fence about eating right now since I have no idea if I'm up or down from my last weight and while I don't want to go too far under I don't want to be over on calories... just going a little crazy lol.
sorry for the rant0 -
Oh the joys of Mother Nature in Southern California...I live in a city that was previously unknown to those that didn't live here that is now infamous. We had a GIANT fire in our mountains last year, and now that we've been struck with 6 straight days of rain, there's worry about mudslides and floods. Meteorologists are anticipating the biggest storm we've seen in 10 years to strike in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, so, mandatory evacuations are being ordered.
*sigh*
I don't live in the areas that were evac'd in the fires and are being evac'd now, but my mom does. The fires were fuuuuuun. *sarcasm* At least you could see the fire line coming closer and could leave when you finally felt the urge. With this scenario, there's no warning.
We're waiting to see if she's being told to get out. For some reason the news/government agencies aren't releasing lists of addresses. That would be super, 'cause right now it is wait for a knock on the door, and then get the eff outta there by 9pm. And that's frustrating and causes more worry.
Plus it doesn't help that since I'm a little bit of a history buff and wrote a book about the history of my hometown area (yay Girl Scout Gold Award!), I know about the 1934 New Year's Flood that happened. Same thing...big fire, lots of rain, flood...death and destruction. Even folk singer Woody Guthrie wrote a song about it!
Think happy thoughts for my hometown, please.0 -
Pinky, let me know. I'm thinkin about her. At least you're close by now so she has a place to go with the pets.0
-
Definitely, Summer. We've got a plan in place for a couple different scenarios. If she ends up coming over I'll have plenty of wine and jewelry building to keep her busy.0
-
Wow I'm a thread killer, huh? Today's my normal weigh-in day but because I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night I didn't want to hop on the scale as my body didn't get to process the day's intake, KWIM? So I'll way Thursday morning.
Hope everyone's had a great Wednesday!0 -
Good morning lovely ladies!!
