Losing/Maintaining weight in pregnancy

Is anyone on here to maintain their weight in pregnancy? Or has anyone had experience of doing this?
Obviously, my priority is the health of my baby and that they get all the nutrients needed and I'll be getting advice from my GP on this, however when I was pregnant having my son who is now 19 months old I gained 3 and a half stone and was very overweight after his birth so this time I'd just like to be as healthy as possible. It is only early days and I am still in the first trimester.
I lost weight after having my son and lost more than I'd gained using my fitness pal, taking me down to a stone lighter than what I was before I got pregnant with him. However I then sadly had a missed miscarriage a few months ago at 11 weeks pregnant, and along with the weight gained in pregnancy I comfort ate for a while afterwards which has taken me up to my current weight of over a stone heavier (although some of that will be related to this current pregnancy).
Any advice welcome! :-)

Hi there!
I tried to maintain my we it during my third pregnancy as with my first I didn't care and put on 2 stone then like yourself miscarried my second but at 12 weeks.. With my third pregnancy I maintained my weight reasonably well and even occasionally lost a lb here and there but once I hit the third trimester all will power went out the windows and i still ended up putting on 1 & 1/2 stone!
The best way is to stick to your calorie intake daily, exercise regularly and try and keep stress free.. We want another one once we're married and im going to continue to do the exercises I'm doing now (spinning, cross trainer, treadmill etc). They say as long as your body is used to doing the exercise before, you're safe to continue it during pregnancy0
