Defecit created by MFP to follow or not ?

So, MFP creates a deficit when you workout, I'm curious should I be eating all that back?
My goal is to lose weight, I would think the idea is to just eat up to my allotted calories/macro's and stick to that, not worrying about eating more because I worked out.
For example If my calories needed to lose weight is 1700, I just eat 1700 worth of food and If I should burn 400 calories I should just take that as burned fuel but not try and compensate for the burn by eating 2100 calories.
Am I looking at this correctly?

Supposed to eat the calories back with the MFP setup. Normal-size guy working out and you'll start crashing if you don't.0 -
if you use the daily calories MFP sets up for you then you need to eat back your calories it automatically keeps you at the proper deficit.
If you input your own daily calorie based on your TDEE then you don't want to add any exercise and eat exactly as many ahs it shows. your activity level would have included the burned calories0 -
I'm going back as a retrospective and Answering some of my old questions posed when I first started dieting, The answer to this questions is eat it back but with proper macros. When you burn you are burning from a fat source, your body is taking from that crap your trying to get rid of and using that to let you shed weight, so what you'll want to do is follow the MFP Calorie allotment as it is already set at a calorie amount low enough to let you lose weight and just eat back to zero Making sure to use the rule, Lean meats, Whole Grains and Healthy Fats, Creating a Deficit doesn't give you the sudden Cheat Day reward it just assists your goal the right way so again, Eat it back but it it back correctly this time, think of it as a time machine for all those mcdonalds you had years before, your burning those nights away and coming correct this time.0

Your MFP calorie goal has your deficit built in, so you must eat back at least a portion of your exercise calories. The calorie counts & burns are only estimates, so some people reduce the margin of error by eating back half their exercise calories.

To me it depends on your weight. for me i dont tend to eat my excersice calories back unless i feel like crap or if i have a deficit over 1000 calories. my starting calories are 2100 so if im at 1100 or under i'll eat more.0
